FAQ
Getting started
Can I use Upbiddr for free?
Yes. You can browse public rankings without an account. Eligible accounts can create a profile and keep one active free ranking card. Paid increases are optional.
How do I sign in?
Upbiddr signs you in by email. You request a sign-in email and confirm it. There is no password.
Can I keep my real name private?
Yes, you can use a public display name and handle instead of your real name. Your account email is not shown publicly. This is not complete anonymity: Upbiddr processes account information and Stripe handles payment/billing data. If you increase someone else’s card and your profile is publicly listed, its owner may see your public profile name and link in their private activity view.
Cards and labels
What is the difference between Free and Sponsored?
A Free card has no applied cash contribution. A Sponsored card has received a paid ranking value increase, whether from its owner or another member. Points-only increases currently leave a card labelled Free. Neither label is a verification or recommendation.
What states can a ranking card have?
A ranking card can be a draft, it can be active, or it can be archived. Only an eligible active card can appear in the public rankings; an archived card is no longer part of the public ranking list.
Does changing my profile visibility hide my cards?
No. Profile visibility and card status are separate. An eligible active card can remain public when the profile is not publicly listed. Use the available card status controls to change the card’s public availability.
Rankings
How does a ranking value increase work?
A paid increase adds the purchased USD amount once to the selected eligible card’s ranking value after secure payment confirmation and processing. You are not buying a guaranteed position, visits or customers.
What is the difference between all-time and period rankings?
All-time rankings use the card’s current ranking value. Today, Week and Month rankings use eligible increases applied during the selected UTC period, including money- and points-based increases. A new period does not reset the all-time value.
What are leaderboards?
Leaderboards show results from completed periods. They are different from a live period list, where positions can still change as increases are applied.
What does Claim #1 mean?
Claim #1 shows the smallest whole-dollar amount a new card without ranking value would need right now to rank above the current #1 in the list and filters you are viewing. Cards that already have a ranking value may need a different amount. Values can change before a payment is confirmed, so no position is guaranteed. It is an amount shown for that ranking, not a claim to a card or destination.
Does a high ranking mean the destination is safe or recommended?
No. Ranking position, value and labels do not verify ownership, safety, quality or legality. The destination is run independently. Upbiddr does not provide the goods or services described there.
Does sharing, copying, or clicking change a ranking position?
No. Sharing, copying a URL, and following a link do not create points and do not change a ranking value.
Payments and invoices
How much must the first paid increase be?
The first paid increase on a card is at least USD 5. Later paid increases on that card start at USD 1. Points alone do not count as its first paid increase. The current rules are shown before you order, and checkout shows the amount for your purchase.
Can I increase someone else’s card?
Yes. You can purchase an increase for your own or another member’s eligible active card. This does not give you ownership or control over another card or its destination. Points can currently be redeemed only on your own eligible active cards.
Which payment provider does Upbiddr use?
Paid increases use Stripe Checkout. The payment methods available for your purchase are shown there. Your payment is for Upbiddr’s ranking service, not a purchase from the card’s external destination.
Will I receive an invoice?
Yes. An invoice is created automatically through Stripe. You can access your invoice and payment confirmation from My ranking increases in your Upbiddr account. Enter the billing details you need during checkout; your public profile name is not used as your invoice name.
Can I withdraw from a paid purchase?
The Withdrawal Notice explains any statutory right and how it applies. If you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge the consequences, your right expires once Upbiddr has fully performed the service, provided the statutory requirements are met. Other mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Points
How many points can I earn?
Rewards depend on the opportunities currently available to you, such as eligible invitations, campaign codes or point actions. Each opportunity explains its reward, limits and conditions. There is no single reward amount for every way of earning points.
What can I do with points?
You can redeem eligible points to increase your own active cards under the current conversion shown for the feature. Ranking value is applied in whole-USD steps. Points are not cash, cannot be withdrawn for money and are not freely transferable.
Will there be more ways to earn points?
We may introduce further opportunities. Their rewards and conditions will be explained when offered. No particular future opportunity is guaranteed.
How many points do I currently earn for a standard referral?
The current standard referral reward is not available right now.
How many points do I need to increase a card’s ranking value?
Under the current conversion, 1 point increases the ranking value of an eligible active card of your own by USD 1. The redemption conditions of the feature apply. Points are not cash and cannot be withdrawn for money.
Reports and restrictions
How do I report content or make a complaint?
You can report a profile, ranking card or profile link using the reporting options available on Upbiddr. You can also send reports or complaints by email or through the Contact page. Please identify the content or action and explain your concern. These contact options do not limit statutory rights or remedies.
Does a restriction make ranking value payable to me?
No. Ranking value is a service metric, not a cash balance that can be withdrawn or transferred merely because a card is restricted, archived or later deleted. This does not remove a mandatory refund or other legal claim that may apply in a particular case.
